Independence Day

Jai Hind...Jai Bharat...

Hamara Bharat mahaan....

Heard and said this several times, however, not feeling it from dil se....

Today morning at 7:30 sharp, I switched on my TV and heard our THE great PM's speech, it was good to hear him, as he rarely speaks. and then, suddenly found the answer to why TV is called an Idiot Box.

Then heard NaMo for a couple of minutes, and then I switched the TV off. 

The only difference between those was that one rarely speaks and the other one always speaks...mostly the same subject.

Now, there is nothing exciting on TV to watch on these special days. Even, DD , now, doesnot show patriotic movies.

Feeling absolutely bored, irritated, frustrated, and annoyed.

Even  my all time favourite FB failed to impress me today. Boys (read men) are metioning this day as sad, as 15th august remains to be a dry day.

This is why, they are SAD!!!

What to say, what to feel, what to write...

Jai Hind....once again...

EATING FACES ARE THE HAPPIEST FACES

Yesterday I was at Haldiram's - Noida (a very popular eating joint) with my family. As usual, there was full packed crowd and every one was busy either taking their orders or arranging their places to sit. Suddenly, I observed the faces there. Despite of packed crowd, no one was getting annoyed or irritated unlike what i observe in other crowds. Wherever you go these days, and you see a queue, you will observe that people want to get their thing first and in case there is a delay, they will start shouting at each other, and sometimes it becomes a physical attempt too. A very simple example, the traffic signal. One second delay to move your car means, a line of horns getting blowed at you and the passing car will give you a frown. But see, the crowd at any eating joint and observe the difference!!! Poeple are happy to wait for their order. The austerity mantra: Rahul Gandhi

It is a new process started by our politicians......We call it AUSTERITY........ The Gandhi scion travelled to Ludhiana from Delhi on Amritsar Swarn Shatabdi Express. The motto was to save the government funds in the era of recession. It is indeed appreciative that our khadi wearing people have finally entered the cost cutting mode alike the common mass working in the private sectors. I agree he saved a lot of money but my question is was it really a worthy effort! He travelled by Shatabdi convincing us that he also wants to understand the problems faced by common people...... Here i shoot my questions to Mr. Gandhi..... 1. Do you really think that people travelling in Shatabdi / Rajdhani represent the COMMON people? 2.
